Description
A silica optical waveguide technology is used to create the planar lightwave circuit (PLC) splitter, which efficiently distributes optical signals from the Central Office (CO) to various premise locations.
The bare fibre splitter is an ODN (Optical Distribution Network) product designed for PON (Passive Optical Network) networks. It can be easily installed in pigtail cassettes, test instruments, and WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) systems, minimising space requirements.
Features:
- Split Input Signal Evenly into 2 Output Ports
- ≤3.8dB Low Insertion Loss and ≤0.2dB Low Polarisation Dependent Loss
- Fully Passive Optical Branching Device
- Compact Housing Fits Splice Trays, Wall-mounted Boxes, Optical Distribution Boxes, etc.
- 1260~1650nm Broad Operating Wavelengths
- G.657A1 Bend Insensitive Fibers for Low Bending Loss
- Commonly Found in POL, Datacom, LAN, CATV, LCP, FTTx and More Applications
