Compact Design for Terragraph Deployments 

Siklu’s MultiHaul[tm] TG system is the latest addition to the company’s third-generation point to multipoint 60GHz products with Terragraph certification. The TG network solution includes Nodes that operate over millimeter waves in a redundant mesh topology and connect to Terminal Units (TU). The T260, Siklu’s mini TG TU, communicates with the N36x TG Distribution node using the TG protocol and acts as an endpoint in a fully meshed MH TG topology. The T260 is Siklu’s third TG TU and incorporates several features from its predecessors. The T260 is a small and attractive Terminal Unit that delivers gigabit performance and is easy to install in a single-family home and other applications. 

The T260 TU can be used in various applications, including:

• Wi-Fi Hotspot Backhaul

Smaller TU means more deployment options for customers

In wireless systems, smaller often means sacrificing performance. However, with the T260, Siklu has broken new ground by delivering full gigabit performance in a form factor that is dramatically impressive with its smaller size.

The MultiHaul TG offers maximal immunity to interference, hacker-proof links with embedded AES encryption, and built-in redundant paths for traffic if an outage occurs in a given link.

With a built-in software-configured Ethernet switch, the T260 Terminal Unit can address all small form factor applications.

The narrow beamwidth of the T260 provides immunity to interference and network jamming, making it more advantageous compared to wide-beam wireless systems that require multiple strategies to perform in dense areas. The T260 can connect multiple subscribers and services with complete isolation based on physical port, VLAN ID, and/or a Terminal Unit.

The T260 TU is designed for easy single-person installation.

The patent-pending scanning antennas automatically align with serving Nodes, and the T260 allows plug-and-play deployment in a very short time without the need for a laptop or mobile device.
